Following the success of several Cross-Currents film and spirituality weekends, several participants have got together to continue in 2010!
Films: we will watch about 5 films together and have a quiz on the Saturday afternoon. There will also be some time for relaxation! There is also the possibility of going to see a sixth firm after lunch on the Sunday at a local cinema (either the Odeon at Muswell Hill or the Phoenix Cinema at east Finchley). This will depend on what's showing at the time.
Rooms available (including all meals and drinks):
Single en-suite: £130 in total for weekend so deposit would be 30% i.e. £39 per person
Shared en-suite: £100 in total for weekend so deposit would be 30% i.e. £30 per person
Non-residential day delegate rate: £57.50 for the weekend so deposit would be 30% i.e. £17.25
The Guy Chester Centre have advised us that the shared en-suite rooms cannot be booked until all the single en-suite rooms have been taken (there are 15 single rooms).
Please send your deposit cheque, made payable to 'Guy Chester Centre', to Hazel Price. The reason for this is that the Guy Chester Centre would like the cheques sent to them in one batch, rather than in dribs and drabs. My address is:

Planning the weekend:
We have decided to set a limit of 30 people for the weekend. This will enable us to facilitate 3 discussion groups with 10 people in each (the groups will vary each time so you don't spend the weekend with the same 9 people!)
At this point, Hazel, Mark and Jill (who attended the last two Film Weekends run by the London Mennonite Centre and are members of the East London film group) have met to plan the weekend but from January, we would like to include others in the decision-making for the weekend. We want to make sure that you will enjoy the films we watch so look out for emails from January 2010.
