Dr Chris Hewer
London Mennonite Centre

Dr Chris HewerFollowing up on his popular seminar in the autumn of 2006, in which he introduced us to Islam and Christian-Muslim relations, we are pleased to welcome back Dr. Chris Hewer to help us take a more in-depth look at Islam from a Christian perspective.

Specifically, Chris will be exploring the role of Jesus in the Qur’an, in Muslim tradition and in the lives of Muslims today, and offer some reflections on these from a Christian perspective. He will also be helping us gain a deeper knowledge of Muhammad and his importance for Muslims, and discuss with us how Muhammad might be an example to Christians.

We are living at a time when it is imperative that Christians and Muslims develop a better understanding of each other’s religions. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a better understanding of Islam with the help of an excellent speaker.
